Face Study: Visagism

The analysis of the physical characteristics of the face by means of the VISAGISM technique will give us the necessary information to know not only what type of hairstyle, beard, moustache and make-up suits us, but also to be able to choose the most suitable optics and accessories.

The term visagism comes from the French word visage, which in English means face.

The precursor of the use of this concept was a French stylist named Claude Juillard, who in the 1980s began to study the face and its physical characteristics, which at that time were not taken into account during make-up and hairdressing work.

Until today, the concept of visagism has developed to include different techniques that help us to enhance the image of the person, improving his/her natural features.
